Buy low, sell high right? What if you knew in advance that the waves platform is currently selling waves to its users for $6 while it is trading at $3? Some kind of bug in their platform locks the price and decouples it from the market. One could theoretically figure out the time they lock in the price(every 24hrs?) and then if the price goes up, buy a bunch of waves at the lower price and resell it on the market. C'est non?
