My thoughts on Ripple

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

When I first saw Ripple, I did not think much of it. I saw it going for $0.23 and thought it as just another one of the many altcoins out there. I did some research and bought as the price was going up, but I think that most of the price activity is from hearsay and that Ripple is not going to reach the prices I thought it was. I sold all my Ripple today because I just do not see it as the best option for my invested money. I would rather invest in something with a larger room for growth (Ripple can only get so valuable due to how much Ripple is in existence). If asking for my opinion, I would recommend everyone does the same as well. Ripple may look nice with all of its partnerships but the Ripple token has nothing to do with those partnerships. Those partnerships are for the payment system and company, not the token.

You don't think it will pick up with the next run? I got in at 0.03 cents and if peaked out just above 3 dollars. I used to think it was going to be a solid investment but later started leaning towards your opinion.

Although I think plenty of people will still invest because they are new and want to get in on something that seems cheap and is one of the biggest currencies

I'm going to hodl it for this run but i'll most likely sell closer to the end of the year really hoping for a 4 dollar valuation i'll be more than happy to get rid of my XRP

I am not saying that Ripple isnt profitable, because it definitely can be, but I would prefer to move my money into something I see as a more worthwhile investment for my money. The reason I kept Ripple as long as I did was because the money making potential is there, it just isnt backed by much in my opinion.

May I ask what coins you think are more worthwhile?

BTC, ETH, LTC, TRX, ETC, STEEM, etc

One more question, if you don't mind, what about coins in the price range of Ripple?

Ive been on ripple since nov. Out of all the coins this one stuck out to me. Doin my research it made my interest grow. Real world use cases. Its only a matter of time until ripple takes over like amazon.
