The suggestions in this comment were written before the last major upgrade.
The suggestions are bad advice.
Here is good advice: Check your account on SteemD.com before each SteemIt Session. This is your link:
https://steemd.com/@cryptocleanse
You will see a resource bar. It looks like the following:
The bar shows your Resource Credits are under 50%. The credits regenerate at a rate of 20% a day.
Everything on SteemIt is determined by the size of your wallet. New users have only 15 SP. The system only gives you enough SP for 12 comments over a 5 day period.
The system charges the same amount for comments as root posts.
People rarely upvote comments. That means you should write only root posts and no comments.
DO NOT BOTHER REPLYING TO THIS POST.
The suggestion about following is also bogus.
The follow system is dominated by robots that sell resteem services. Only follow people who you find interesting and who show interest in communicating with you.
That rule of thumb was written before the last major update that restricted resources. You should ignore it. If you can only write 2 posts a day, then it would take two months to write 100 comments.
As comments rarely receive upvotes, people who follow that advice are unlikely to earn even one STEEM in their first two months.
BTW, you should upvote 10 times a day. The math here is simple. Each vote takes 2% of your voting power. They regenerate at 20% a day. You can vote ten times.
Vote for ten interesting posts a day.
steemworld.org is good too.
