Japan Sentenced Jail to Crypto Miner for Remote Mining Case

Japanese district court has, sentenced a man for the first time to prison in a remote crypto mining case. Though, this case is completely different from previous cases of mining cryptocurrencies using other computers.

According to Nikkei, the Sendai District Court ruled on 2nd July, sentencing an unemployed 24 Year Old of the city of Amagasaki in Hyogo prefect's office to one year in prison, with the sentence suspended for three years.

According to the judgment, he attached a mining program into a tool that advances online games beneficially, in January to February, without defensible grounds, and released on his blog, downloaded on other person’s computer, and started mining.

With every technology comes the people who misuse it. Glad to hear that Japan is actively removing the bad guys from the ecosystem.
I just wish that blockchain and Cryptocurrency are adopted just as well in India too.
