I haven't really been watching that closely, but it seems like the @haejin flagwar is pretty much going nowhere. Haejin is still making a crazy amount of post rewards and lots of SteepPower is being used to downvote what others are upvoting. Even though the flags seem to have little effect I like how the community has begun to organize and help each other out regardless of what side of the war you're on.

The Creation of CrptoFeed
That got me thinking. What could we do with that Steempower now that we are somewhat "organized". Well, the first thing that popped into my mind is, instead of using all that Steempower to flag Haejin, why don't we create something similar to what @cryptoctopus did or is trying to do with #photofeed. Why don't we use that organized SteemPower to set up a #cryptofeed?
I know my meme game is week
Growth Potential
Right now Twitter is going through an issue, for whatever reason, where many crypto accounts are getting shadowbanned. Account sign-ups for Invest Feed have been skyrocketing. Popular Crypto Twitter accounts are looking for good options outside of Twitter. Why not start using this organization and Steempower to get some of those accounts to come over to Steemit and Zappl?
There are also plenty of Youtubers that also post on Dtube/Steemit that create great crytpo/Steem/Steemit content and are severely undervalued in my opinion. Since we're organized and have some considerable Steempower gathered in one place here on Steemit why not use it for good and keep these Youtubers excited about the platform.
Making Crypto Posts Great Again
It seems like the current crypto tags are flooded by haejin posts. Maybe we could just ask haejin not to use the #cryptofeed tag so that great accounts that blog/vlog about crypto, ICO's, trading, and anything else on the related topic could get more views/rewards. I'm tired of seeing nothing but haejin posts in these tags where he's drawing W's on shitcoin charts that are all going to the moon. I started tracking one of his calls a few months ago and geocoin is down 80% of where he made the call to buy because it was going to the moon.

Sorry, I digress. Calling an end to the flagwar and promoting posts that are actually of value in a new feed featuring crypto sounds like it could have some positive effects:
It would take @haejin out of the spotlight and hopefully allow him to just fade away. Look at Logan and Jake Paul. If you think bad news/information actually hurts these people you should see what it has done for their YouTube following.
It would highlight people on the platform that are creating great crypto content and are potentially undervalued and give them more followers, views, and rewards.
A quality #cryptofeed could be huge for the platform. I think it would be awesome if Steemit could attract more crypto developers like SmartCash that reward Steemit authors for making quality posts on their coin, reward authors by possibly setting up signature campaigns, or something similar.
Thoughts?
I don't mind devoting small amounts of time to helping grow the feed/community, but I need the help of those with more Steempower to help make using this tag and posting to this community worthwhile. Eventually, it will get clogged with spam and those just like everything else, but hopefully, we'll be able to seek out and reward those who spend the time to post quality crypto information and bring in outside talent.

In the comments down below please let me know where we/how we can start growing this tag. Whether it be a whale helping with upvotes, spending time and putting together a list of daily/weekly/monthly great content, or helping with branding or outreach to grow the community. Currently, there is no discord as I'm just trying to put some feelers out to see if there is any interest in a project like this. Who knows, maybe @haejin could use some of his steempower for good and help grow up and coming analyst that he thinks provide great information.
@Haejin does not care about #Steemit. He only cares about making as much money as he can here. He will never change. He found a way to make easy money & it is making him thousands & thousands. The only way to stop him is for the developers that have created apps for Steemit to revoke & block him access. Make it so he can't access anything else then just Steemit.com. All bot owners need to block him too. If choosing not to block him, just don't give him the upvotes. Keep the money & give it back to the people of steemit who he is scamming. There are people here who can put an end to #Haejin but are choosing to do nothing. I have probably put in more of an effort to help steemit than some of the witnesses that are getting good money & doing nothing. They should be stopping scumbags like him for destroying what they help created.
Honestly, you're ranting about haejin, but did you even read my post. You claim
Yet you don't even take the time to read my post or comment about what I've put together. Very disappointing.
YEAH I did read your FUCKING post. I read the whole FUCKING thing. YOUR STUFF isn't gonna work until @HAEJIN is DESTROYED!!!!
Lol angry troll is angry.
If Steemit could be the place for Crypto-info as opposed to Mashable, I think that would be a good thing. Use blockchain for promoting blockchain.
Yeah or bitcointalk.org that would be huge. Most coins do their ICO announcements on bitcointalk. It would be nice if Steemit became the new default place to make your coin/ICO announcement.
Well, I'll be doing a bit more crypto talk soon. I would like to get more involved.
I even considered taking over the ReddCoin Tip Event twitter account used by a fan to promote ReddCoin.
Just need to get more people like @skycorridors to post.
Would be better to get a Reddcoin Steemit tip bot ;)
Are you on do you have discord?
I've loaded Discord on my PC. I hated how it ate up system resources, do I don't turn it on much. However, I know if I want to do more Air Drops, I'm going to have to get Telegram and turn on Discord.
Use the web browser version of Discord. Works fine for me unless I want to be on voice with push to talk. Since I never want to be on voice, I don't have an issue with that.
I’ve randomly looked into in the past a couple of the lower upvoters someone like him gets. They followed a very “interesting” pattern.
Would be interesting if someone did some analyzing on who is voting for this person. Perhaps the couple I've checked into myself where just an outlier. Some huge changes need to be made on Steemit. Otherwise, you will always have this issue. Part of it could be fixed with next hardfork.
Another part is people just chasing after curtailing rewards. They rather give a rich man 10 cents then a poor man 10 cents because it could pay better least for how they go about it.
It is interesting just how much of a social experiment this site is turning into it. Do you wish to have ethics and morals and make little or do whatever it takes and make out like a king.
While I wish you luck in creating a new tag there are just too much-undervalued contents out there as it is for me to want start devoting a portion of my voting power to another cause. I’m just to spread out as it is I’ve not even been keeping up in a few places I should be.
Trending and even what shows up in my feed now is starting to get rather disgusting. Just how little substance is required to have a post with huge dang rewards.
Thanks, I was more hoping for a small chunk from a big whale or two.
I enjoy watching the social experiments play out.
I was just commenting on someone else's post that the quality and quantity of posts/comments seems to be going down the drain recently. Assuming because of lower crypto sentiments in general (listening to a podcast by crypto enthusiast that are saying the number of twitter follower they are getting is drastically lower as well) along with the lowering of the SBD price.
A few people are getting frustrated to the point their quality is suffering because they just can’t stand it anymore that nonsense garbage that is making a killing.
Best I could do was recommend them finding communities that support their kind of content.
Ultimately I think its going have to be more than just a tag. Someone (if its not already been done) needs to create a community with a discord channel, and bunch of other resources to support and help push up better quality cryptocurrency blogs.
Issue with just a tag is anyone can choose to use it whenever they want. Even more so if that person intent is to bring in as much as possible without giving it a second thought.
As I said just putting out feelers. A tag isn't the final solution. I don't have time to do everything though and was just offering a suggestion.
If you would like to help with this I can set-up a discord server real quick and send you an invite.
I don’t have the time or energy. I’m already to spread out in dozens of other projects as it is. There also a fair amount of PR issues. Some rather talented programmers, software engineers, and experts would need to be lead on doing the undertaking that would be required.
I reach out a couple months back to some experts i know. They simply don’t wish to get involved with this platform in particular due to certain things going on. They didn’t want to be seen as endorsing it.
Perhaps someone in the future will have the skillsets, contacts, time and most importantly the money to do it right.
I was looking at places like these and thinking someone create much better. https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=POLONIEX:STEEMBTC
Something massive could be built here over time.
Live charting, news, blogs, an exchange with fait entry/exit node and digital assets, all tied into 1 platform with some of elements running off steem blockchain.
It would be a massive undertaking. I'm simply not the guy and I more then realized that quite a long time ago. That's not even getting into all the legal red tape and issues.
Lol I must be dreaming way too small because that's way more than I was thinking of doing.
You can DM me on discord, but interested to hear why they didn't want to get involved on the platform or to be seen as "endorsing it".
Shout out CryptoStreetPod eh? Hahaha. Twitter followers as an indicator is an interesting theory. Maybe one that should be expounded on in a #cryptofeed post? 😎

It is an interesting idea to be sure. And like you say in the comments, a tag is not a permanent solution. Hopefully the promised Land of communities is something we will see this year and we can shake things out some to allow the great content to rise to the top.
I am with you on the flag wars. I have reached the point of capitulation myself. These flags are doing nothing one way or the other, except meaning other good content is not getting g upvotes while we flag. I'm done with it. Moving on with my life and hopefully never typing the name Haejin again. I think we all have better things to do.
