Swiss Central Bank President Strongly Says: "Bitcoin is not a worthy reserve asset"
Martin Schlegel, the current president of the Swiss Central Bank (SNB), strongly opposes the proposal that Bitcoin be considered a reserve asset by Switzerland, and some of the reasons he gives for this are that it lacks stability, presents liquidity problems and generates security risks. According to Schlegel, all these weaknesses of the main crypto on the market make it contrary to the maintenance of the value of the Swiss Bank's investments.

Although the president of the Swiss Central Bank also acknowledged that Bitcoin secures a monetary value that amounts to three trillion dollars; he dismissed it by saying that it is only a niche phenomenon. Schlegel implies that Bitcoin is not yet competition for the traditional financial system; by also stating "We do not fear competition from cryptocurrencies." But without downplaying Martin Schlegel's statements about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, it is a fact that Switzerland leads the list of countries with the highest adoption of Bitcoin.

Ethereum founder Vlitalik Buterin recently raised his voice to defend Ver and say that sentencing him for tax crimes is an excessive measure. He also pointed out that the whole affair appears to be purely politically motivated. More specifically, however, it should be noted that the US authorities are accusing Roger Ver of three specific crimes: mail fraud, filing false tax returns and tax evasion.

Robert Kiyosaki, the famous author of financial and self-improvement books, has recently said that Bitcoin ETFs are bankers' money, and that therefore we should stay away from them. Kiyosaki argues that BTC futures are nothing more than a traditional banking instrument that tries to control and manipulate the price of the main crypto on the market at will.

Kiyosaki has also strongly recommended that one should invest in Bitcoin directly, but also in gold and silver. And he stressed that ETFs are not a true investment in BTC and that they undermine the decentralized nature of Bitcoin.

Presidente del Banco Central Suizo afirma enfáticamente: "Bitcoin no es un activo de reseva digno"
Martin Schlegel, el actual presidente del Banco Central Suizo (SNB), se opone firmemente a la propuesta de que Bitcoin sea considerado como un activo de reserva de valor por parte de Suiza, y algunas de las razones que esgrime para ello es que carece de estabilidad, presenta problemas de liquidez y genera riesgos de seguridad. Según Schlege todas estas debilidades de la principal cripto del mercado, hacen que sea contraria al mantenimiento de valor de las inversiones del Banco Suizo.

Aunque el presidente del Banco Central Suizo también reconoció que Bitcoin asegura monetariamente un valor que asciende a tres billones de dólares; desdeñó diciendo que solo se trata de un fenómeno de nicho. Schlegel da a entender que Bitcoin no es competencia aún para el sistema financiero tradicional; al afirmar además "No tememos la competencia de las criptomonedas". Pero sin quitar importancia a las declaraciones de Martin Schlegel acerca de Bitcoin y las criptomonedas en general, es un hecho que Suiza lidera la lista de países con mayor adopción de Bitcoin.
Los mercados criptográficos sufren gran impacto por los aranceles impuestos por EEUU a la Unión Europea

Y lo que es más, numerosas fuentes informativas revelan que no solo el precio de Bitcoin se ha visto afectado, sino que todas las demás criptomonedas del mercado también han sufrido los efectos de las medidas de Trump; e incluso el mercado bursátil también está sufriendo grandes bajas como consecuencia de ello en este momento. La razón más profunda de todo esto es que las medidas económicas que Trump ha estado tomando en materia arancelaria y macroeconómica en general, están generando gran incertidumbre y nerviosismo entre los inversores de los mercados criptográficos y bursátiles, lo que les impulsa a vender sus tenencias y refugiarse en el dólar norteamericano, el cual consideran mucho más seguro.

Roger Ver fue nada menos que uno de los primeros inversores de Bitcoin Core y posteriormente de Bitcoin Cash; y actualmente se enfrenta a una pena de cadena perpetua por delitos de evasión fiscal en EEUU. A todas estas Roger Ver alega que EEUU le está persiguiendo no por el pago de sus impuestos, sino por otra razón: Por defender el uso de Bitcoin.

El fundador de Ethereum Vlitalik Buterin alzó su voz recientemente para defender a Ver y decir que condenarlo por delitos fiscales es una medida excesiva. Además, señaló que todo este asunto parece tener una mera motivación política. Aunque siendo más específicos hay que aclarar que las autoridades de EEUU acusan a Roger Ver por tres delitos concretos: Fraude postal, presentación de declaraciones fiscales falsas y evasión fiscal.

El famoso autor de libros de temas financieros y de superación, Robert Kiyosaki ha dicho recientemente que los ETF de Bitcoin es dinero de los banqueros, y que por tanto hay que alejarse de ellos. Kiyosaki sostiene que los futuros de BTC no son más que un instrumento de la banca tradicional que trata de controlar y manipular el precio de la principal cripto del mercado a su antojo.

Kiyosaki, además, ha recomendado muy enfáticamente que hay que invertir en Bitcoin directamente, pero también en oro y en plata. Y remarcó que los ETF no son una inversión verdadera en BTC y que atentan contra el carácter descentralizado de Bitcoin.
