To make sense of that graph above.. the shitty little red line on the bottom is the LMDB that twitter uses.. And the other colours are @dan / bytemaster7 measurements on his new DB lib...If implemented properly on a blockchain, the potential throughoutput potentially would only be bottlenecked by connection speeds between witness nodes.

Keeping an eye on what his upcoming announcements will be... If I'm interpreting that DB lib measurement correctly it appears sub second blocks across synced nodes may very well be possible, which would be FUCKING incredible.
No idea if you still check your mentions on here Dan... But if you do see this, can we have a sneak preview on the type of chain you plan to implement this racehorse of DB setup in? Seems like chains using boost like EOS or HIVE could implement something like this and take our block time from 3 seconds to... 300ms?

Say what you want about Dan, but the dude is a fucking innovator. Guys that like to invent cool shit don't like being anchored down to projects after they bootstrap them.. Seem a fair amount of users from his previous chains insist that moving onto another project is somehow a criminal act.. These people, just like elon musk, are fucking retards.. Got comments on Dan or what he's potentially cooking up for his next project? Spew your thoughts in the comments.. :D

The handling of the Ninja mined tokens seems the more criminal act to me. Ethically criminal at the very least.
I don't think that was the CTO's call at the end of the day..? Not sure..!
If we look at the current large power holders... They too were running witnesses and grandfathered in.. While not criminal, their lack of forward development while propping the old boys club up seems more fucked up than anything dan did.. Imo.
I miss @dan for sure - he was the brain behind all of this here.
Yeah. Dude is highly intelligent. Sadly most that get involved with his stuff feel anger when he moves on to other projects, which I think is insane.
Never had a problem with Dan, it was Ned I didn't care much for 😎
Ned is certainly a more polarizing figure in the community than dan is..!
I keep going back to his book More Equal Animals again and again. I tried to be part of the EOS launch but its just a bit too technical for me, but Hive is great for me. On April 1st don't trust anything, but I will look out--
Also what the fuck he has a book? XD
Yep he released it on Hive when it came out, its been very insightful.

Ah, thank you for the link. Much appreciated.
It's an easy read and highly relevant to the Steem/Hive experiment.
At first I thought he was fucking around as well for april fools.. But I don't think that is the case. :)
