#introduceyourself weaving style!

in #ctp2 years ago

Hey everyone! Im Bonnie and im from Northern California. I have just recently started weaving but man have i fell in love with it! It has become a flourishing passion of my mine and new patterns, yarns etc everywhere i look. I am looving it!

The projects ive made so far:

I have made a coaster out of a verigated teal size 4 yarn and made a mistake.. ok a few lol

And a piece that i will turn into a remote control or a mouse holder

Heres what I'm working on now

Pretty cool, huh?

Right now, I'm honing my craft, but soon, I hope to make a bag.

Id love to know what you are working on... even if it isn't weaving...let us know below.

See ya later!

Hi, @bonniesbhive I love what you made! What you have made is nice. Are you making something that is red too? My mom use to knit and she loved it! Enjoy your weaving and keep it up you will get to be a pro at it soon.

Yes, I made my first beanie with red and white striped yarn. I really like it and learned that an early ancestor was a weaver by trade. Thank you!

Oh that's awesome @bonniesbhive that is so cool you had an ancestor that was a weaver by trade. You are most welcome Bonnie! !BBH !CTP

Welcome to the Hive community @bweaveit!
Northern Cali? I beweave you! lol I am in Silicon Valley lol, enjoy your stay here, there are some handiwork communities here, Britt knows a bunch of them and she will help you.
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.
