RE: My 5 Year Goals

in #ctp3 years ago

Long term goals have become a thing of the past for most especially since the world has become economic rationalists and the quick buck, the end of year figures and how quick can I get that sausage roll hot in the microwave mentality has become prevalent.
It is gratifying to see someone that makes long term goals, even more so when they get achieved.

Anyone getting into owner owned business knows that you do not even see any results on the other side of breaking even until the five year mark.

The key is to stick with it and watch it unfold through the hard earned and hard driven motivations of achieving the milestones set for yourself/business.

Online/Offline business is like life , it should be seen as a long term strategy,
we look after our bodies (well mostly) because we want a long and productive life, we look after our business because we want a long and productive business.

Breaking our goals into manageable chunks is what helps success -
A five year goal is a stepping stone, just as a daily is to a weekly, a weekly is to a monthly, a monthly is to a yearly.

Everyone should be defining where it is they want to be ahead of time and then work towards that step by step

Yeah, I really enjoy the goal setting for mid to long term and then it makes it super easy for me to backwards plan for that goal. By the time I plan back to today, each little thing that I need to do seems much easier knowing that I am walking towards my end goal!
