When I was growing up,
times were simpler, gas was about a dollar twenty a gallon. The rotary phone was our primary communication, besides the morning newspaper. Color television, cable hadn't been introduced yet. You had about 8-10 channels you could watch. The Ed Sullivan show was popular, and so was Dick clark and american banstand. The clothing style was bellbottom jeans, tye dye shirts and rock n roll was becoming more maistream. As I remember those days, I realize I am who I am. My father would say be proud of where you came from, help those who need a hand up, and always be yourself. There is noone like you, this is how God made you, unique one of a kind. Everyone else is taken and to always have honesty, dignity and integrity in how you live your life.Be Yourself
