I Remember Back to The Early Days of…

I remember back to the early days of the internet and the one thing that stands out compared to the internet today is that there really weren't any tools, there wasn't anything done for you, and making something yourself took quite a bit of technical expertise.

Not trying to toot my own horn and say that I'm some type of technical Guru because I'm not I'm just a hybrid type of person I know how to do a little bit here and a little bit there I'm familiar with HTML so putting up a standard web page is pretty simple I know a little bit about scripting but I wouldn't call myself an expert.

Understandably Things Were More Confusing?!

Actually, I find that things are made to be much more confusing today. back in the 90s there was a lot less competition and believe it or not, except for the technical learning curve it was actually easier to make a sale back then and things didn't change much when the 2000s hit.

I understand what they're trying to do but there are a lot of online marketing programs that are overly complicated and a lot of e-books out there that tell people in order to succeed online you have to join all the programs, of course upgrade, and BAM - - - Success! Ah, no.

Save Your Money Save Your Business

Yes, I am a program owner yes I want people to upgrade in my program yes I want people to join the programs that are in my downline Builder and it would be great if they upgraded in them as well. The reality is we all only have a certain amount of money. When we burn through that money, Things get really stressful really quickly when we don't have enough money to continue our business.

If you have budgeted a Thrifty $60 a month to run and advertise your business, after a few months of doing this and not making any money the average person gets very frustrated. In order to avoid this the best way is to track everything you do. When we track our links we will know not only which links outperformed other links but what platforms outperformed other platforms the worst thing a person can do is invest in a platform without knowing the results.

Big Money Gurus Never Invest Blindly

Everybody thinks that just because somebody is Rich they run around bellowing and wasting money for no other reason than they have it so they might as well spend it. Nothing is farther from the truth most of the time wealthy people are incredibly Thrifty and do not spend money unless they think that money is going to give them a return. When you are evaluating a platform you need to know how many clicks you get and how many conversions you get therefore let's say for example you are using a traffic Exchange you will need to track the splash page and the lead capture page that the clicker is redirected to after they click on the splash page.

Nothing Converts Better Than A Good Story

This is a widely misunderstood concept when it is said to tell a good story it's not implying that the marketer should lie or make things up or anything of that manner. The best thing a marketer can do especially a new marketer is to tell the story of how the product, service or platform has enriched their life and has made their business better. Now that is only a rough example but those that learn how to tell a story never have to worry about getting paid.

Most of us have to pick and choose where to spend our internet money. I follow the philosophy that until on product is paying for itself, I don't invest in another.
