Meanwhile, In Issan . . .
A little cooler today. 37c 100f. Yesterday was a scorcher!
This is typically the hottest time of the year. Next month the rain should start, making it cooler. For now, we deal with what we get!
The Farm . . .
This is the main house.
The guest house. It's not completed, still a work in progress.
The first hog pens. Demo work is in progress to expand the barn to hold 100 pigs.
Part of the garden. We have 150 banana and 100 mango on the back of the property.
The work is never really done. You finish one project, you start the next. We have 23 rai for rice as well located about 1 km away. This year we have too many projects, so will be renting it out for planting. I'll take a walk there another time and get some photo's.
It's nothing fancy, but I like it here. Later I will give you a better look at the homes. Time to clean the pig barn and feed the babies.

Sounds like an interesting way of life and an amazing set-up there. I understand that you need to schedule your daily activities around the sun, but I thing that when those papayas mature, they could be a refreshing treat:)
We were selling produce at the local market. Too much going on right now to concentrate on the garden to do that. But yes,the papaya, mango, and bananas are quite good!
