Hola, amigos de Hive. Hoy he terminado de leer el último libro de la escritora Isabel Allende y aprovecho la publicación para transmitir las emociones que provoca esta lectura. Comenzaré diciendo que a esta escritora la conocí a principios de los años noventa, en La Habana, no personalmente, eso hubiera sido mucho pedir, pero tuve acceso a uno de sus libros, casi por casualidad, en un cuarto de la beca de la universidad F y 3ra, para ser más exactos.

from the nineties, in Havana, not personally, that would have been too much to ask, but I had access to one of his books, almost by chance, in a scholarship room at F and 3rd University, to be more exact.
Pues el destino me empujó al encuentro de La casa de los espíritus, con una fuerza increíble y acabé leyendo casi con frenesí esta historia de mujeres extraordinarias, a la que recurro una y otra vez, a lo largo de todos estos años.
Después fueron llegando uno a uno todos sus libros. Recuerdo en 1999, cuando mi padre viajó a Chile, y yo antes de salir le dije, papi cómprame un libro de Isabel Allende. ¡ y me lo trajo! No uno, sino tres. Fue un gran regalo de mi padre.

Tengo todos sus libros, unos en formato duro, en papel y carátula, estos son mis preferidos, otros en formato digital, al que pude recurrir cuando tuve este móvil y no niego sus ventajas.
Su último libro, al cual me refiero al inicio del post El viento conoce mi nombre, es una novela desgarrante, que logra remover las fibras más internas y transportarte a escenas tan dolorosas como el fascismo, la migración y una matanza por El Salvador. Personajes que la autora logra concatenar a pesar de las distancias.

En 2019 Anita Díaz, de siete años, se exilia en los Estados Unidos, es separada de su madre, por una nueva ley en la política gubernamental y es llevada a un refugio, donde la niña logra recrear un mundo mágico para escapar de la violencia.
Increíblemente, la autora logra de manera fantástica, concatenar estas historias y relacionar a sus personajes en un tiempo convulso, dado por la pandemia Covid 19, donde aflora lo mejor y lo peor del ser humano, pero demostrando que la tenacidad de la esperanza puede brillar en los momentos más oscuros.
