I still would like to know by what authority you impose arbitrary rules and star chamber court style justice though. When looking at the Official Steemit FAQ it says "There are no official rules for participating on steemit.com, but one of the users @ thecryptofiend has created an Etiquette Guide for the community. While it is not required to follow the suggestions in the guide, they are standards that many users in the community choose to follow."
When Non-Steemit people started telling me that they "refuse to join Steemit because of all of the abuse from power mongers using bots" I initially thought they were exaggerating or speaking from a point of ignorance. How ironic it feels to me to see that they weren't exaggerating.
Now I know this might be a hard thing for you to wrap your mind around because you seem to be purely focused on money and status -- but many of us are more community focused. Money is all well and great, but its not the end-all be-all of why many of us come to Steemit.
I came to Steemit because it seemed to be a freedom and liberty zone. No rules. No censorship. Free to post your content and share without the tomfuckery of main stream corporate power mongers dicking people around. So if you can manage to imagine it possible for people to have such a first impression view of Steemit and imagine that some people aren't "all about the money" -- then perhaps you can understand how blind-sighted people feel when suddenly -- they have this unlisted set of rules imposed upon them which contradicts the whole FAQ and premise of what Steemit appears to be -- and it is being opposed by what seems like just random bullies with Steemit Super-powers of some sort.
Can you maybe find it possible to imagine what it would be like? And then to top it all off, not only being blind sighted by this, but to have these people (and by these people I mainly mean you) act like an absolute narcissistic sociopath in the process.
If standing my ground when I find myself in a tight spot makes me a dick, then I'm one of the biggest you may ever meet from that perspective.
I'll follow the rules of your bot simply having no other choice, but I'm not going to bow to you or lick your ass for favor with you. No amount of cryptocurrency is worth sacrificing my integrity. But nor am I going to cry about any of it, either. When I call a bear a bear, it is merely an observation of facts. When I call you a sociopath, it is merely an observation of facts. Not crying, just saying the sky is blue. So I hope I've established the difference between these two things in your mind.
I'm still going to do a YouTube live stream about my experience with this situation. Whether that is with you to represent your side of the story, or without you -- is up to you to decide. I'll let you have at least a few days to think on it. The value of your time can be literally counted in crypto.
