Farmers benefitting from the cultivation of cucumbers in Kurigram

Farmers of Kurigram have learned to change themselves now to cultivate vegetables. Sowing vegetables of different types of vegetables in the same land, they found the way to earn cash. It has resulted in a lot of people's refinance.

Many peasants in the upazila of Phulbari upazila of the border between the nine upazilas of the district saw the face of financial prosperity by cultivating many vegetables and vegetables.

Though they have no land, they are cultivating different types of vegetables with lease of another. Especially here farmers cultivate small breed of coconut hybrids in Thailand, and the farmers get cash payments.

Suhal Chandra Sen (45), a farmer of Kuti Chandrakhana village of Phulbari Sadar union, said that 40 percent of the land was brought back to his country by bringing the country's prosperity. On this land, he brought this money by cultivating vegetable crops four times a year. By cultivating various types of vegetables, gourd, shrimp, berbati, karla, brinjal and cassa, they are living well enough by selling these vegetables and vegetables in the market. According to him, his profit is more than the cultivation of cucumbers.

Subhal Chandra said that after finishing the family membership of two children, he got 24 percent of his land by cultivating vegetables.

Ershadul Haque (35) and Ahdul Haq (30) of the same village said that they would run the family without first working day before. On the advice of local successful vegetable cultivator, Anichur Rahman, they removed a lot of hard work by cultivating cucumber with lease of another land.
