Hello my felow steemians... Hope you have a great day for you ... Today i want to share you about my favorite food it's called BAKSO or MEATBALLS.

BAKSO/MEATBALLS ... Who doesn't know about this one. This food is very popular in Indonesia and is the food of a million people, who like this food do not see the age ranging from children to adults all really like this one food even though there are a few who do not really like this food maybe only about 10%. I really like eating meatballs, this is one of my favorite meals. Hmmm ... Especially if eaten while hot in the rainy season. If you enjoy meatballs, the first thing to eat is the noodles, then the broth and the last one is the round meatballs. This food is very easy to find, ranging from traveling vendors to large restaurants. Meatballs are indeed Indonesian food because in addition to being delicious, the price is cheap and easy to get everywhere.

BAKSO …. Siapa sih yang tidak kenal dengan kuliner yang satu ini. Makanan ini sangat popular di Indonesia dan merupakan makanan sejuta umat, yang menyukai makanan ini tidak memandang usia mulai dari anak anak sampai dewasa semua sangat meyukai makanan yang satu ini walaupun ada sebagian kecil yang tidak terlalu suka dengan makanan ini mungkin hanya sekitar 10 % saja . Saya sangat suka sekali makan Bakso, ini merupakan salah satu makan favorite saya. Hmmm… Apalagi kalau dimakan selagi panas di musim hujan. Kalau menikmati bakso hal pertama yang dimakan adalah mie nya kemudian kuah kaldunya dan yang terakhir baru bakso bulatnya. Makanan ini sangat mudah sekali ditemukan mulai dari pedagang keliling hingga restoran besar. Bakso memang makanan rakyat Indonesia karena selain enak, harganya murah dan gampang di dapat dimana-mana.

HISTORY OF BAKSO

This food actually comes from China precisely from the village of Fuzhou at the end of the Ming Dynasty and precisely around the 17th century. The story is told that in that village there lived a man named Meng Bo he was a devoted child and loved his mother. Apparently the mother really likes to eat meat, because her mother is old and her teeth are also brittle making her difficult to enjoy her favorite food. This made Meng Bo sad and he thought how to process the hard meat so that the mother could still enjoy her favorite food.

Makanan ini sebenarnya berasal dari China tepatnya dari desa Fuzhou pada akhir Dinasti Ming dan tepatnya sekitar abad ke- 17. Al kisah diceritakan bahwa di desa tersebut hiduplah seorang pria yang bernama Meng Bo ia merupakan anak yang berbakti dan sayang sekali kepada Ibunya. Rupanya sang Ibu sangat suka sekali makan Daging, karena sang Ibu sudah tua dan giginya juga sudah rapuh membuat sang Ibu kesulitan menikmati makanan kesukaannya. Hal itu membuat Meng Bo sedih dan ia berfikir bagaimana cara mengolah daging yang keras tersebut agar sang Ibu tetap dapat menikmati makanan favoritenya tersebut.

One afternoon, Meng Bo saw his neighbor pounding sticky rice in his kitchen to make Mochi cakes. Then the idea came up and he went straight to the kitchen and pounded meat like pounding sticky rice then tender meat was formed into small rounds and then boiled. From inside the room the mother smelled a very delicious smell and was curious about the smell of meat broth made by Meng Bo and wanted to taste the food and how glad she was at that moment because she could enjoy her favorite food. Well then the story of Meng Bo then spread throughout the city of Fuzhou many people came and wanted to learn how to make meatballs.

Pada suatu sore, Meng Bo melihat tetangganya sedang menumbuk beras ketan di dapurnya untuk membuat kue Mochi. Kemudian muncul lah ide nya dan ia langsung menuju ke dapur dan menumbuk daging seperti menumbuk beras ketan kemudian daging yang sudah empuk dibentuk bulat-bulatan kecil dan kemudian direbus. Dari dalam kamar sang Ibu mencium bau yang sangat lezat dan penasaran dengan bau kaldu daging yang di buat oleh Meng Bo dan ingin mencicipi makanan tersebut dan betapa senang sekali hati Ibunya saat itu karena ia dapat menikmati makanan kesukaannya. Nah kemudian kisah Meng Bo ini kemudian menyebar ke seluruh kota Fuzhou banyak orang datang dan ingin belajar bagaimana membuat bakso.

Why is it called BAKSO(meatballs)? Because BAKSO come from the word Bak and So. Bak means Pork and So means Soup is Meatballs are Soups that contain Pork meat. But because the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim, pork is replaced with beef.

Kenapa di namakan Bakso? Karena bakso berasal dari kata Bak dan So. Bak artinya babi dan So artinya Sup jadi Bakso adalah Sup yang berisi daging Babi . Tapi karena mayoritas penduduk Indonesia adalah Muslim maka daging babi di ganti dengan daging sapi.

Setelah tahu sejarah terciptanya Bakso yuk sekarang kita coba buat bakso sendiri dirumah, Gampang kok ….

RECIPE FOR NATURAL HEALTHY BEEF MEATBALLS

Ingredients:

  • 1 kilogram of beef
  • 1 egg
  • 100 grams of sago
  • 8 garlic
  • 5 shallots
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 4 teaspoons of salt
  • Enough water
  • Ice cubes to taste

How to make natural chewy beef meatballs:

  • First of all, puree beef with a meat grinder to make the process easier and faster. Make the meat really resemble pasta by grinding the meatball mixture at least 4 times.
  • Add the shallots, garlic, eggs, pepper, and salt. How to grind it still with a beef grinder. Stir until making the meatball mixture evenly distributed.
  • After it finishes. The dough is slammed to the point of bouncing. Only after that enter the sago. Then mix again until evenly distributed.
  • How to make beef meatballs this time, of course, by placing the mixture into the palm of the hand. Then squeeze it to make the dots come out on their own. The size can be adjusted to your taste.
  • Boil enough water in a pan to boil. After that set the flame to shrink. Then enter the meatball mixture into it. Wait until it floats perfectly.
  • If it's finished draining. Pretend your beef meatballs by entering briefly into ice water. The broth should not be discarded if you want to cook again with additional vermicelli or other ingredients, for example.
