Our country generally cultivates three kinds of mushrooms suitable for food such as:
1 .Straw mushroom: Straw mushroom is cultivated using rice straw, shimul cotton, peeled beans and rice pudding etc. It is generally cultivated in Bangladesh from March to September.

  1. Yar mushroom: Generally Yar mushroom is found in the mango tree during the rainy season. Yesterday mashroom has black color. Yar mushroom is cultivated all year round but during the rainy season the yield is good.
  2. Oyster Mushroom: In our country, this type of mushroom is the most cultivated. This mushroom can be cultivated all year round, but in winter and rainy season the yield is good. Oyster mushrooms can be grown very easily and very little space is needed.

    Mushrooms can not be cultivated in open spaces. So there is no need for arable land. To cultivate mushroom, the house is built with chan or bamboo chawas in a shade.
