Because the ages of consent are so high across the United States of America, it would only make sense for each and every state jurisdiction to keep underage marriage legal predicated upon the English Common Law that establishes the minimum marriageable age of 12 for girls and the minimum marriageable age of 14 for boys. Of course, minors should still have to get permission from their parents to get married, at least. Now legions of femi-nazis are threatening our nation with their crusade to pass laws that would make marriage illegal for anyone under 18 years old under any circumstances. It should be interesting to know where all of that is going to take our nation. Wherever it may be, it won't lead to anything positive.
