Not a single historical marker in this vast mess of what used to be a kingdom.
I love watching documentaries that tackles a place’s history.
As I watch this weekly local documentary, my heart sinks each time the host finds an inaccurate depiction of the true history of the place that she’s investigating.
Sometimes I wonder if being a cultural-heritage advocate is worth it, especially when you live in a third world country filled with people who lack in discipline and are very sentimental when it comes to unimportant things.
