‘MARKET’ MEANING IN IGBO LANGUAGE

MARKET IS CALLED ÁHỊÁ IN IGBO LANGUAGE.


Igbo people are lovely and lovable people found in southeastern part of Nigeria in West Africa.

In Igbo land, we have market settings and market days which has different name like EKE, ORIE, ÀFỌ̀, NKWỌ́.

But all of them put together are called ÁHỊA which means MARKET in English language.
