HAve you heard of carnival in Basel, Switzerland? It has a great tradition and attracts millions of people (even though the city has around 130'000 citizens only). You should come visit some time. But not this year as I am on a cruise evading the masses this time (as you might have read in my blog).

I haven’t heard about the Geneva carnival yet, good to know. Actually I was in Geneva one year during this time, just missed the carnival I guess. Will sure consider going back!
You live in Zurich I see? I heard there’s a famous parade during the summer, also sounds interesting. Enjoy your trip mate.
Ok Switzerland is very small so it is no big deal to mix up cities. Geneva is where UN is located and a lot of arabs have bought very expensive houses for being throughout the summer. But I have not relationship to Geneva.
The carnival I was referring to is at Basle - that is also where I live (Zürich is very close by - 1 hour drive - and is the most known city of Switzerland but not the capital - that is Bern).
But enough of Switzerland overview - just let me know when you are visiting Switzerland - here is so much to see and I will gladly assist you making it a perfect trip!

Brillint post i am really interested in carnival at the moment as we are experiencing carnival for the first time here in Tenerife. It is wonderful it is just a giant party in the street
