Hello everyone. You might have tasted different types of friends,foods,beverages,climates,wines but one thing is sure that we all have one thing in common.We,like children, are ever curious about tasting everything in this world. We admire fish in water and so we want to swim them, we admire eagles and always want to fly like them and we as well admire our fellow beings and would like to be like them hence making each of us to have his own culture.
Recently i had the opportunity of moaning with one of my favorite niece. She had lost her father-in-law. The tribe is endowed with very interesting and unique culture and they are known for that. They spend more money during burial ceremonies than they are able to contribute when one needs to settle medical bill in the event of being hospitalized for long.
They buy expensive coffins to show how they loved the deceased, slaughter animals and they end up making sure those left behind are left with nothing.
Besides the expenses, if the wife is left behind she has to be inherited otherwise the ancestors won't be happy. If the ancestors are not happy they will wreck more havoc by more people dying or more like tragedies occurring. Sometimes the dead refuse to be transported in a community where death is always attributed to someone's mischief. Nobody dies naturally.
The old lady in white sitted was the wife to the dead man.She is a retired police officer while the late husband was a retired teacher.

We have some of the same things here. Some people avoid funerals, because they think deaths come in 'threes'.
I also noticed they leave the casket open for viewing, which is common here. I prefer to remember the person as they were, before they left; and not what they left, when they left!

Funerals are a reality and death is too even idiots can see this.
Some people believe that they can speak to the dead body that is why its open. They even cane the body if it refuses to be transported.
It is one thing I have never agreed with! In Louisiana, they have a party celebrating the prison's life; more to my liking....

People like celebrations and in the celebrations all evil is done. Worldwide Christmas celebrations never glorify God either.80% of it has nothing to do with Jesus.
True, and they do get a little out of hand down there, but the idea of celebrating a person's life, instead of walking past an open casket is attractive!
Most of Christmas is pagan. The timing's way off, picked by pagan holiday dates, but if GOD had wanted it celebrated in the correct time; he would have given us more timing information! Although giving to others is s nice....
