Today I will show photos of ancient household items of the Kuban Cossacks. I think that the fate of all peasant families in Russia were quite similar, and the Kuban is no exception. When I saw this model of the black sea farmstead, with a well, hay sheaves, it immediately became clear to me that acquaintance with the exhibition "life of the past era" will be interesting. Let's take a closer look at the photos.
In the first installation was presented a lot of objects, one way or another used in the economy of those times. It is not only kitchen utensils, but also a loom, spindle, spinning wheel, Potter's wheel and other necessary things for every Kuban house.
Looking at each subject, you imagine and how it could be used, what were such devices or things. After all, many of us have never seen such tools.
Have you ever had to beat milk to get from 3-4 liters of 200-300 grams of real peasant oil. The photo shows the churn, the process of whipping the oil requires patience and skill.
In such forged chests of our grandmothers to store clothes. They didn't have chiffon shirts with exquisite inlays.
And instead of porcelain and ceramic plates used clay bowls and hollowed out of wood mugs and jugs.
Only a few decades later, wealthy families began to appear and stanitsa beautiful original dishes and these ceramic products.
Such plates were intended for big holidays, and they were stored under glass in similar bookcases. In those years, women embroidered different napkins and towels, rugs and rugs, so that you can somehow decorate your home, create comfort and convenience.
On the walls hung pictures of relatives, and each guest was told about his merits and the state of relationship with him. Almost any house must have had icons, which are often decorated with towels. They were called a pious or a divine, they had to cover all the icons hanging in the" red " corner.
Thank you for Your attention and Your visit. I appreciate Your feedback and comments.
I wish you luck and have a nice day!
Very neat to see all these old tools and household items! Do you know what time period specifically they are from?
The clay and wooden tools make it seem like it must be a very long time ago but in some of the later images there are photographs on the wall, so perhaps not as long ago as I might be thinking?
There are objects of the late XVIII century (2 photos: spinning wheel, spindle) but there are already those that date back to 1938. This is an installation from different eras.
You are right, some photos have already been made in the late 50-ies of the last century, but it has been so many years, they are also historical rarity )

Красивые вышивка, предметы, домик. У нас, в Украине, точно такие были в старину.
Классно, что у вас их сохранили для будущих поколений
