Morocco is multi-ethnic with a rich culture and civilization. Throughout the Moroccan history, this country has hosted many people from the East (Phoenicians, Jews and Arabs), from the south (Sub-Saharan Africa), and from the north (Romans, Vandals, Moros). All of these groups had an impact on the social structure of Morocco, which included many beliefs, such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
Each Moroccan region has its own specificities and thus contributes to the creation of a mosaic of Morocco's cultural and cultural heritage, where the Kingdom has placed its priorities in preserving its cultural heritage and protecting its diversity and privacy.
In the global political arena, Morocco is referred to as an Arab-African country.

morocco culture
The culture of Morocco reflects the Berber and Arab influences represented by its population. The majority of Morocco's population identifies as Berber and Arab. At least a third of the population speaks an Amazigh language. Following the Islamic conquests, Arab tribes came to Morocco and settled in the low regions, such as Tadla and Doukkala. For example, there are groups called Charkawa and Arbawa who settled in Morocco from Arabia. The Charkawa claimed to be descended from Umar ibn Al-Khattab, the second caliph of Islam.
