Some go out at dawn to say goodbye to their sailors, others in the afternoons go to wait for them and run along the sand to the dock where their loves will disembark, tanned, exhausted from so much blue and salt, but happy to be alive and to return home, which awaits them warm, smelling of cleanliness and fresh, well cooked food, and of course, when they look up from their empty plate, there they will be, the Penelopes of all the stories, waiting for the tale of the day, or for the sailor to come up to read a story to the children and say goodbye to them before they sail away in dreams.
