Please check 2 of the people who try their best to help their fellow small account holders here, @mermaidvampire and @cadawg. They are the founder of the Plankton Token in Steem Engine. They are one of the first to make a token that wants to help grow small accounts and be active in Steemit. I have been observing them since the beginning and they struggle with support. They have support from their community and they are able to grow their project little by little and it all goes back to everyone who supports them. But the support they get are from small accounts just like them but they do not ming. Plankton Token helps with making accounts and onboarding and lately they are struggling how to address the issue on encouraging everyone how to make good or quality content. They also teach plankton to trade tokens in the Steem internal market and SE. They also help their community to understand good curation habits and to curate as many people as they can by maximizing their VP down to 70-80%. They encourage their members to have their own initiatives to help each other to grow and thrive in Steemit, specially now that the Steem Engine has so many tribes and opportunities to grow and earn Steem.
They are active in Discord. Despite the little SP they have for the project, they have a weekly trivia game that shares Steem and SE tokens. They give daily free rewards and upvotes to ALL PLKN holders. They provide Steem Power rewards to their weekly buyers of the token. They provide weekly rewards to their delegators. They manually provide monthly staking rewards to all their token holders that HODL. They provide Steem loan with 5% monthly interest. @mermaidvampire has games and her prize model is everyone gets something, all participants are rewarded. I was encouraged to stay and grow here because of her because with her initiative, even if it was small growth, I was able to see my wallet and SP growing. Like a taxi meter, it was nonstop, everyday I would earn from her little games even if I could barely post. Although she cannot be fulltime on Steemit because she is chronically ill, she still makes sure to be productive and be able to help people in the platform. She could have had more SP now if she does not share her earnings to reward people in her contests.
About @cadawg, he is some kid with awesome programming skills, he makes tools for Steem Engine and Steemit but only asks donations instead of earning from ads. He is the only developer for their project the Plankton Token despite being busy with being a programmer for a company in real life. Thank you, @benedict08. You've been supportive and thoughtful. I like what I do because it challenges me. Like, right now, I have to powerdown so I can support my account and @plankton.token. I don't know the challenges ahead of hardfork 21 but we will keep on steeming on. Steemit has been a good part of me and made me productive even if I am too sick to function in real life. This for me is empowering.
About @cadawg, he has been a busy guy in real life but because he believes in Steemit and he dreams to be a great blockchain programmer, he stays with me and does something on his little time off from work. The best part of it is he does it for free for all of us. I believe he has also done free coding work for some witnesses in Steem and other communities, very noble guy at 18 years old.
Thanks, @theycallmedan for all your efforts. I see you around and I hope all whales or huge stake owners are like you. We the plankton will follow your lead, quality content, promotion, etc... that all is possible with good communication and motivation from the big players. All the best to you and your projects! I am not sure you would pick us but I am sure many others deserve your help.
For my own nomination, I may have to list them down, but let me start with @cindyhartz. She is new yet she has what it takes to be a good Steemian and really upholds the value of community. Please check her out. She is a good storyteller and is making children's books in real life and use storytelling as therapy. She also aims to make games and contests in Steemit to promote the platform and to encourage camaraderie.

She has dived right in and is not holding back. People like this are what we need for the community. Her stories are amazing and she's even helped out on quiz nights with @plankton.token. Even if I have been here long there still many things I do not know and ask them. They are not popular or big man here but they help me and many others.
