Microplastics in bottled water, Berkey water filter review
Author: @glennolua
Curator: @nicnas
-=- @glennolua writes about the use of water bottles and how it is becoming more evident of micro-plastics being ingested from drinking from plastic water bottles. He also shares an alternative to buying plastic. I personally use a Pur Filter that screws onto my sink. It was very cheap and the water tastes amazing. Actually I was very shocked at how good it tasted when I first bought it. Other than the unnatural elements in the water, another thing to consider is all the plastic wasted and where it all goes from all the water bottles we use on a daily basis. -=-
Upvote Bots #1 – Purposes
Author: @gabeboy
Curator: @nicnas
-=- While there are a couple things I do not agree with in this post by @gabeboy, I like the message about the protional tools we use often on steem. He explains what and how we should use these "bid bots." These tools were made to promote your posts, get them to more viewers, but not to be profit machines (cash registers). I do not agree with the services generally being considered gambling because thats not their purpose. But they can be a gamble. You can make money by using them, but there is no guarantee. But the key about this article that I have written about many times in the past is the best use for these tools. And that would be by promoting others posts that you find as good content. I know I have come across some great articles and I cannot do it justice with my upvote. This is when its time to put a bid in for the post. Thanks for the great advice @gabeboy. I hope people listen. -=-

30-Day No Alcohol Challenge!
Author: @jfitmisc
Curator: @nicnas
-=- @jfitmisc shares with us today about a challenge where one would stop drinking any alcohol for 30 days. He gives some reason why this is so important and the benefits of less alcohol. Some of these include better health, better sleep, more money in the pocket and less hangover days. But also cutting out alcohol allows for more time and productivity. Maybe finding a new hobby, like working out? The benefits can be amazing from dropping the drinks. I have a few friends who stopped altogether because of all of these things. They couldn't afford their bills. It can get back and knowing you are in control can go a long way. If you do drink and know it is affecting you daily life, consider following @jfitmisc's adivce. -=-
