Its not a real popular purview among the more powerful voices here.
They like to keep it off the trending and hot pages.
The way steem's math works is if 1 vote is all that is given, then the entire reward pool goes to that 1 vote.
If one vote of 1000sp is voted and another of 100,000sp is voted the lion's share of the reward pool goes to the larger vote.
I dont know the exact math, im not sure it is linear, but when a vote of 2m sp is given it rounds down hundreds of minnow votes.
When the whale experiment happened all votes over 800mv were downvoted.
This caused the whales to stop sucking up all of the reward pool for about a week.
My vote was like .04 and i had about one third the sp i have now.
Stinc hurried up and hardforked in delegation, linear rewards, and enabled vote selling so that we couldnt know how much whale voting was taking from us.
When dan was here vote selling got you flagged upon discovery.
The fact is, when you hire a bully to vote on your post, your rewards come from the poorest amongst us.
I call them bullies because they know what i just told you to be the truth, and persist in the behavior anyway.
Now, if you follow your plan, you will be a bully, too.
