Guess hoo! It is me MathOwl with a weekly update. To have a clear system to curate hard scientific posts I created curation owls. When you write a hard science post your post can receive one or more owls if the post excels in certain categories. You can check over here to learn about the criteria and over here you can learn what hard science is.
Calling my birdies: First follow me, then write a science post and comment your post with the text: @mathowl I want to catch them all . My mechanical computer owl will put you in a queue for future curation. You can call the owls as many times per week as you want. But only one of your calls will be answered with Owl Curation. Everyting will reset when I post my next Tuesday SOC.
Updates: As of last week there is a new owl: Education Sensation. It is a content type owl for interesting educational content. So it mirrors the Expert Delight and the Sexy Science owl within the realm of education.
I recently became a steemstem mentor. Since this type of curation also gives pointers on how to improve content it coincides with the tasks of steemstem mentor. So I will be adding the Steemstem mentor banner whenever appropriate.
Curation
The following steemians got curated by the owls: @fabio2614 @dexterdev @effofex @doomsdaychassis @ruth-girl
Most curated long posts got approximately 4 owls so all of you did a good job.
The rarest owl this week was the originality owl: It was only awarded to @fabio2614 for her post the concept of functions and relations
Special mention: @drdawud caught my off guard with his 1st of April joke post by the name of Associativity in Tropical Set Theory
Catch you next week

wow feeling so grateful to you my teacher @mathawol....I"ll be on my math post after these busy days....am excited for your owl soon... I am hoping to have one😂
Thanks for mentioning me, and more importantly thanks for questioning, which is quite important in a time when everyone accuses everyone else of publishing "fake news".
As with any knowledge, math thrives on asking good questions.
