I think you made a good point, the RC system can be off putting but it also helps to promt people in to getting to understand the steem blockchain on a deeper level, my daily actions are not always about creating quality content, I do try to put quality out when I can but sometimes I do simple things like photo sharing and commenting which helps to build up SP etc. I also like the fact that we can take part in different challenges, projects and initiatives that can also help anyone to build up SP and RC. I did find it a little frustrating at times when I wanted to comment on a post but had not enough RC - so this nudged me in the direction to figure out how to build up my SP and also invest some crypto in to the platform.
