I knew this a long time ago but only today formulated an actual plan.
The designers of social media need to understand what drives human actions.....as we have seen, it is primarily emotion and the attainment of happiness. Look at how many people have abandoned their accounts......this should never happen, the logic is: "they have a chance to make real money, why would anyone leave?" Money is not enough if you're experiencing a negative cognitive load.

Yup. We've talked about some issues in the Steemit Community Discusisons. Information is not available to enable a new user to understand this completely new model of economy and social media mix. Then their expectation are not met, they are feel helpless, disenfranchised and disillusioned. Too much to learn and no central location to do it from. Feeling lost is not welcoming for many. I just learn when I don't know something, but others aren't as persistent to adapt to something new. Steemit is fixing that with the onboarding and tutorial though.
