Look What I Found All Over the Place!

in #curation5 years ago

This week I did not focus on any particular Tribe for my weekly curation series Look What I Found!Pass it Forward Curation Contest, so I'm following their guidelines in picking posts under $2.00 USD and bloggers with less than 65 reputation. Instead, I tried to include a broad variety of topics of those posts that I believe deserve more recognition. As always, I'm using this post as my entry to @pifc's weekly

Look What I Found.jpg

That was not even that easy, since even the steemsphere is full of posts that... well, I would say can't be considered valuable, even by the lowest standards. Not that there were no amazing posts out there, but as you'd expect, they were either posted by well established steemians, or had already been remunerated quite generously. However, after a bit of searching, I did come across three posts that I'm happy to curate. Here's what I found:

My gorgeous Photography Collection by @ahmanik47

Starting out with photography, I'm happy to present @ahmanik47's post , introducing us to some of the pictures he took in Bangladesh. They range from nature to culture, including seascapes, run through various filters, a tree covered in red flowers, a busy city street, and a secluded beach. In the end he also includes a bit of information about himself. Keep up the good work, @ahmanik47!

Frost Santa Giant by @darthgexe

Frost Giant from SplinterlandsSplinterlands player, even battling them on occasion back when I used to send my own monster cards into daily quests. What I love about this post, is that it doesn't just show the final result, but leads us step-by-step through the process of creation.Next up, I picked this art post by @darthgexe, dressing up the much loved as Santa Claus (fitting right into the season). I remember @darthgexe as a passionate

US Patent 3,951,134 Apparatus Apparatus and Method for Remotely Monitoring and Altering Brain Waves by @ninjatuner

Finally, from the realm of science and technology, as well as (non-mainstream) news, comes this article on a remote brain wave monitor, posted by @ninjatuner. The most talked about aspect of this apparatus is that it does not require any direct connection to the body, needing only an antenna. What makes this invention interesting, though and scary as hell, is that apparently it can be used not only to monitor brain waves, but actually alter them. Does this mean actual mind-control? Or would it merely send "suggestions" into people's brains? Or would the practical effects not even involve thoughts and ideas, only agonizing discomfort and painful headaches? We don't know, but this post certainly opens up room for speculation.

Thanks for sharing. Its hard to find good posts with rewards already.. which goes to show that surely if one writes a good post they will be bound to get rewards??

Well, that's what the signs seem to indicate, and it's not a bad thing at all. As for myself, I'm pretty satisfied with my rewards (steem price an entirely different matter), though I have to acknowledge it's also the result of long time, hard work, relentless persistence, and not lastly a supportive community, which of course I had to find first. But for newcomers I stand firmly behind my message: good posts do get rewarded, and regular presence even more so.

Thanks for your entry. First 2 bloggers were upvoted...pretty sure the 3rd is a copy paste without really adding anything of value. But 2 bloggers is a qualified entry so doesn't effect your entry for the curation contest.

Here is a little bonus !SHADE 2

Oh no! But you're right, I should have seen it. Well, thanks for upvoting the first two. Good thing I put three posts in my submission, this way I'm on the safe side. Thank you for the upvotes and the bonus shade!

Thanks for your entry, but as a judge of the contest, I will not be judging the 3rd entry. That was a low effort post... and no source included. 🙄

I know, so I've been told. I kinda feel bad about it, as I should have seen something this obvious.

Thank you very much for showing my post along with those other publications of such excellent quality.

A lot of people are saying 5G has similar mind control applications as per some NAFTA papers D:
