Often when we're right in the middle of something changing, it can pass us by without much notice as many aspects of reality call for our attention simultaneously and we easily lose sight of things that would brighten our day. Change will often become plainly visible in hindsight.
In the spirit of discovering novel art, trying out new skills and witnessing some overdue developments in society at large, it is @paradigmprospect's pleasure to share the work of these 5 Steemians with you all today.
The Sneaked Selections
SUPERFOOD CINNAMON BANANA ICE CREAM 🍌🍌🍌
My oh my, that lady has some incredible recipes to share and she has done it again, this time some vegan banana-cinnamon icecream that just begs to be tried out and expanded upon.
Includes a step-by-step preparation guide and inspiring photos to foster our motivation to become a true icecream wizard. Amazing recipe @amy-goodrich - it looks incredible and sounds delicious beyond belief.
Why wait for summer?
Steemit and Other Crypto-Social Venues as Commercial Outlets for Artists
Naturally with projects like Steem and other decentralized blockchain technologies we feel a need to move it further, to make it accessible to more everyday users and to grow the utility factors that the blockchain provides through its technological innovations.
While Steem is a blogging platform for many, it could also become a serious service-provider bringing buyers and sellers of everyday items into contact with one another. As @alchemystones writes in his article, there is still a large unaddressed need in the Steem ecosystem and the right initiative at the right time would lay open all this untapped potential of an SBD & Steem based market for all sorts of items, arts and crafts that some past applications had already tried to establish hubs around but somehow didn't pull through.
The article is a really good hint for all those programmers with the technical skills out there who are in search of a groundbreaking concept for a steem-based application to finally usher in mass-adoption. Imagine that steemconomy!
[CR]Lycan.Original render-artwork/my new userpeak.
Incredible to see how far 3d modeling has come in recent decades! I remember not ""too long ago"" there were the first 3d games available with crude models where you had to imagine the finer details because the models would not be able to deliver. Fast-forward to today and we see how individual artists can create mindblowing objects in 3d rendering programs that look incredibly detailed and as professional as in the industry at large.
Features little text but lots of screenshots from @mrgreen's recent venture into Lycan territory.
Kellogg’s Ends Animal Testing After 65 Years
While I am certainly the last one to applaud huge corporations for their too-little-too-late efforts to save their image or appeal to a more conscious consumer base it is an energetic symbol for the changing times we are living in when Kellogg's announces they are stopping to use animal testing for their products! More and more companies decide to drop long-held methods in their business-practices that have gathered a large wave of criticism over past decades.
As @johnvibes so eloquently points out in his article, Kellogg's has made public statements to refrain from using animal testing unless specifically required by governmental laws to do so. Not sure if any of those players and their PR departments can be trusted at all, but it may just show that some conscious trends on Earth cannot be stopped even with all the control and monopoly-positions in the world...
How to Throw a Kickass House Show Without Going to Jail or Destroying Your Home Part 1
There comes a time in the life of a musician when live shows become an important aspect to one's development. They give you feedback, experience and the ease of performing in a live situation with what you have long worked on, maybe with your band, maybe by yourself.
But as many will know who have tried it, there are some things that are easily overlooked when organizing a little house concert in your garage - things that could not only make your performance better but to help you prevent some of the most common mistakes to cast a bad light on the event before it even starts, as @colinhoward has shared with us recently.
A great read for budding musicians and those who like to turn their home into a high-volume bunker now and then - and would like to continue to do so...

Submission Requirements
On to the submission requirements for The Daily Sneak:
- You can choose from 2 to 5 articles for your entry. Submissions with only one selected article will be ignored.
- All articles chosen for curation need to have been published within the last 5 days before your entry. It may take time for me to publish your curation, and curated articles need to be within the reward window when your submission is published.
- You cannot submit your own post for curation. Selections from nsfw will not be accepted. We also check for plagiarism and only highlight original content.
- Selected posts should have less than $50 in total rewards and have not previously been curated by The Daily Sneak.
- We try to spread the love around, so while selections from authors that have been highlighted before are welcome, they might not be included if the author's last inclusion was recent. Similarly, if you include two articles from the same author in one submission, we will typically highlight only one of the two.
- Be sure to include your personal bio for me to introduce you to readers, and make sure that each selection has commentary. This can be just a few sentences about why you think the selection is worth our attention, or what is great about it - something that will make people want to click through the headline and check out the actual article. English is preferred, but other languages will be considered as long as English translation is included.
- Please use this web form to submit your entry. https://goo.gl/forms/VH2MGIMEgqZmd9ef1
- Including image links to the source article is not required (and we prefer to leave some mystery if photography is highlighted and the article has only one photo.) However, we like to include images in The Daily Sneak, and not including any image links may decrease the likelihood of your submissions being published.
If you include more than 2 articles in your submission and not all are approved for publication, your submission may still be published into an edition of The Daily Sneak, as long as at least 2 articles are approved. This could happen for several different reasons. If you are unsure why an article was cut, please review the submission guidelines again. If you are still unsure, feel free to ask politely why it was cut.
Submission Reward
A brief biography of each guest curator will be included in the edition that uses their submission. In addition, each guest curator will receive 2 SBI for each article from their submission that is highlighted in The Daily Sneak. That's up to 10 SBI for each accepted submission!
With Steem Basic Income now upvoting comments for members that have not posted within the last 7 days, and SBI having proven to be a great value proposition, we chose to rewards curators with SBI. This will help The Daily Sneak continue in its mission to discover and reward quality content creators and curators.
