Hi @geekgirl... Thank you for a very informative post on how curie works.. I just finished reading it. I am an artist and I make charcoal portraits, still life, etc. I joined last July but have been posting my works only last November. It takes time to finish my works like 3-5 hours to 2 days for making a portrait , I have been once ignored by one steemit community/group when I started as a newbie with a reputation of 25 in November. But I am constantly striving hard to earn a good reputation. I hope that someday I will get curied as all my posts were really undervalued. I was losing my hopes and was desperate when I saw someone curied at almost 200 SBD with so simple drawing ... I can assure you that my drawings are of good qualities giving you one sample below with low upvotes.
