I'm a big fan of simple art with cute subjects, and the mix of watercolor and ink is one of the best ways to achieve that look. I've started and stopped several fox pieces because I felt like I wasn't doing the animal justice--teeth but not fearsome, cunning but not cruel.
Simplicity often comes as an epiphany. I stopped trying to sketch every piece of fur and, instead, focused on the bits that made me love foxes.

CUTE painting. It reminded me of a time my daughter and I got to the beach super early at the dunes and got the chance to see one just standing there and watching us and only being about 25 feet away. Thanks for that reminder and keep up the good work
