Noodle š§ on this ā
Name one 1ļøā£ thing youād like to be known for on hive.
Iāll go first.
I want to be known forā¦
ā¦encouraging hivians to more fully enjoy content consumption & creation. I have ideas to help ease the resistance & procrastination to speed up your progress.
Iām not the rare breed. There are many Hivians who authentically take interest in your work, regardless of what the market is doing. We love to show pride for each otherās progress here. Weāre good people! š„°
So, āI want be known for encouraging creative work.ā
Now, your turn.
For what do you want to be known?
ā
Grab your cuppa āļø and come meet me before the sesh of Creative Work Hour

I don't really have anything to 'sell' here, but I will promote my own music when there is some. I like to think I contribute by helping to build communities with things like my country list and follow Friday posts. I want to see Hive do well and it's fun for me.
You are doing a great job.
I want to be known for having the largest pen. Is that okay?

I had missed your reply, hence the delay.
But I found the āRepliesā tab @ecency notifications on the mobile dApp. And, āvoilĆ !ā There you were, @davedickeyyall!
You made me laugh out loud!! š¹
Link works yay! I shall try and join too but might be keeping one eye on my work computer at the same time, can listen in though.
The other thing Iām establishing on here is my Sound Library project and soon Iām looking for people to take part in it by submitting samples/recordings that can be used in music production or just for ambient interest. Going back to my environmental awareness thing in my last comment, itās just as interesting listening to recordings of people chanting in parts of the world Iāll never visit as it is to an impressive guitar solo. Another Hivian has recently sent me a recording of a tribal chant and itās really good. Exactly the kind of thing such a library could benefit from. Itās not just about the musical possibilities but the curative too.
This is really exciting Nick. Iām also a musician and voice actor.
So,Reading, eh?
https://hivefe.st perhaps?
Itād be AWESOME to meet you at a hive event!
@steevc & I hosted a @buzzparty in May in your neck of the woods.
Yes just outside Reading and I reckon some Hive events should be hosted there especially as I canāt make it to Split this year, just donāt have the leave time spare with the day job! To be fair weāve got some great destinations coming up and had them booked long before this year began.
Voice acting must be an interesting field to work in? My brother is a sound recordist and heās done a lot of work with actors, heās good friends with a few top names.
Has been great to meet you and many others, including some people whom I donāt follow, will be great to check out their profiles and make some more connections.
Had to bail out in the end as I was needed elsewhere.
For Discord you can find me under nickeblewis just to clarify, send me an invite cheers! @alessandrawhite
A true polymath or polyglot? I always get those two words confused. Creative minds never rest!
Hey, how are you?
Helping people observe there environment, to take notice of the sounds and visual qualities of the world, to connect more with it.
The link doesnāt work by the way.
Nick, how lovely to see you!
Thank you for alerting me to my typo on the link. Thatās what I get with hot dog fingers!! It should work now. š
Iām interested in hearing more about how you help people focus on their environmental surroundings.
Itās more a case of teaching children and youngsters about the marvels of nature, to distract them from their tablets! I can write more about this on my Hive blog.
Thing is phones and tablets can be used to record what you see around you and then worked into something such as a piece of music or a video.
