Yes - that part is fascinating - time for me to get crackin'! And I can't thank you enough for your vote.
BTW - while I can't speak to any connection with the DC/VA contingency of the Awans, I personally found a connection between a prominent ISI member - I believe he was a general - and a company bearing the Awan name in Pakistan.
And thank you again for your vote - and your feedback. I'm so new here that I can't begin to tell you how encouraging that is. I haven't had time today to look at any other blogs, but I do believe you and I will likely have a lot in common.
