Hacks like this can be brutal for startups trying to increase adoption. Hope they make it out of this one okay.
But their business model is weird -- is this a glorified snack machine that streamlines payments from employees? The irony here, of course, is that one of the most common perks at a funded startups is that kitchen fully stocked with coffee, soda and other snacks.
Yeah, and it continues to become more and more common it seems. What I find to be the most interesting about it at this point is that it collected biometrics as well. Can/Will this open victims up to future replay attacks?
