Yeah, filming would be dangerous, but this was a still shot. Just kidding, but there was no one else on the road at this moment. Really no danger at all.
Thanks! Mine is a few years old... a Hero4 Silver. I have never used one of the newer ones, but based on specs I would probably buy a Hero5 Black if I were in the market for a new one. Wake on voice command would be a nice feature with the Hero6, but I don't know if that is worth the extra $100.
The GoPro is fun. I thought that I would use it to record video, but I mainly use it for stills like this. It is easier to use on the bike than a phone, and I don't have to worry so much about dropping it.
I have been bike commuting on and off for 25 years, and I definitely notice a difference in my mood (and productivity) if I get out of the pattern. The physical benefits are great, but its the mental and psychological benefits that have me hooked. I do everything I can to convince more people to give it a try, but it's hard to really understand the way it can impact your life until you actually do it for a few weeks.
...but hey, I am preaching to the choir. You already know how great bike commuting is.
But filming and not looking on the street is dangerous 😉😅

Cool! I really want a GoPro! I agree that choosing to bike in the morning can start the momentum for a better day.
