Last Wednesday, a friend of mine suggested for a food gathering, and this is how we started to create an event in WhatsApp group to invite casual riders to join us.
Our target is the historical Pudu Glutton Street (Pudu Wai Sek Gai), one of the oldest food street in Kuala Lumpur. The place was damaged by fire last year and we thought we lost another food heaven. However, it had been rebuild and stalls are reopened.
Rain stopped just in time. We gather at Dataran Merdeka at 8PM and started our casual slow ride to Pudu. We did a fast stop at River Of Life a.k.a Blue Pool, a project by the government to beautify the confluence of Sungai Klang and Sungai Gombak into a landmark waterfront in Kuala Lumpur. A perfect place for selfie and wefie.
We reached Pudu Glutton Street and had our dinner there.
After dinner, we continue our ride to the Golden Triangle Bukit Bintang area, a famous shopping and entertainment district. On the way, we passed by the under-construction TRX (Tun Razak Exchange) building. This 106floors skyscraper will soon take its form as the tallest building in Malaysia at a height of 492.3 meters.
Is that a plane? In the heard of Golden Triangle? Yes, that's right. It's a real plane which going to transform into a fine dining restaurant. This will be a touted to be the next top attraction in Kuala Lumpur.
Us in front of the Pavilion shopping mall. Soon after we took this wefie, we are chased off by the security guards because no bicycles are allowed in that pedestrian area. Good job security guards.
It's getting late and rain started to fall again, so we decided to call it a day.
This Pudu eatery corner really a reminiscing place for many KL folks.
Thanks for sharing.

Great series of pictures. It looks like a fun night.
wow the Jet liner restaurant is an awesome idea and might be in my list to go if I go back to Kuala Lumpur.
It was about 5 years ago that I last visited.
5 years! yeah should come back here soon. A lot of changes :)
Sounds like a cool trip! Pudu Glutton St. used to be a family favourite some years back... Haven't been for a long while, and I didn't know about the fire either! Favourites there include the porridge (mine would be kai see porridge) , the tan tat - egg custard (hmm, not sure if the stall is still there; maybe the owners have retired...) , the sotong bakar - one of the best I've had and leng chee kang! Wow... miss that place... Must go back!
Wow.. seems like you really miss that place eh. haha jom! makan!
A nice insight into Kuala Lumpur, a city I have never visited but would like to one day; and a lovely way to use social media to meet new people with a shared interest! Looks like you had great fun.
