This past spring, my wife and I did a tour of a few countries in Europe/Africa - specifically Portugal, Spain, Morocco, and the UK. I'll post more about this another time but I wanted to post a couple of photos of my cycling views while riding in Mallorca, Spain.
Mallorca is known to be a cycling heaven; wide roads, flats, amazing climbs, respectful drivers, and an astounding amount of other riders. Upon learning about how fantastic Mallorca was for my new favourite obsession - I immediately booked a road bike for a few days and made sure I locked in some good KM's while on vacation.
I had limited time so I didn't manage to get any hill climbs in (while cycling at a least), but I had a blast pounding the flats and cycling through some little towns on the island. I rented a Specialized Carbon bike with Shimano 105 groupset - nothing crazy but I had a great time with it. It was my first time using Shimano as my Norco has a SRAM Grupo.
I'm already dreaming of heading back to Mallorca to see what fantastic sights I can explore on two wheels. And for those who'd prefer to drive or walk, Mallorca is a spectacular island, with great food, amazing wineries, breath-taking beaches, and views that are beyond describable. Its a must see.

Oh, did you?! I'm so sorry I never saw you mention this before. My Tumblr has been ver sporadic over the past few years but I still try to update it as often as possible. I'm a huge fan of the Steem platform though, how are you enjoying it?
