Morning Cycling Practice.
I was taking some time to get going again, with my Mountain Biking, after the festive season. I was also too busy to really put in sufficient time in the gym.
This morning my cycling buddy and I however put in a decent practice ride.
We started at around 6:20 on a beautiful summers morning and completed an almost 60km ride. It took us 2h42, which translated to an average speed of 21.4 km/h.
The majority of the route was done on gravel roads, with the odd tar section thrown in here and there, just to relief us from the shaking over the corrugated roads.
Above you can see the route we followed, and below is my heart beat data.
I was quite happy with our performance, and hopefully we will be able to put in more training time, before we start racing again.
I hope you enjoyed the post and that you have a wonderful day.
