I never liked running. I prefer to swim. Now THAT is ideal for daydreaming. I used to go for early morning swims, when it was still dark outside. After a good hour in the water I'd have my morning coffee and start actually waking up. Morning swimming was magic. Sometimes I would remember my dreams of that night, and contemplate them while doing laps. I didn't even bother counting my distance, just let the clock be my guide. No worries about traffic or other accidents, however, in the pool I would not get anywhere either.
