Good morning, Mongolia
It is Laikhan, a 36 years old male freelance writer. Today I would like to share factual information for the world using fabulous blockchain blog websites. Thank you for the ecosystem that allowed me to do it.💪
Maybe people who permanently live in the warm season are unaware of this issue, so I would like to share typical morning daily life with you from the eastern Asia part of the world. Let's get started.
I took this picture from my home on the 7th floor at 9:00 in the morning. In winter, imagine this every morning. Mongolian winters last from October to March. If the house is cold, people light a fire to keep the house warm and continue to work and live. That's why I wrote that it starts in October. The winter season is freezing between November and February.
My home is called the "wall material" zone, the most significant western part of Ulaanbaatar. In short, this area is covered by ger districts. In winter, the temperature is -26 degrees Celsius during the day and -36 degrees Celsius at night, so there is no choice but to heat the fire.
One of the most lucrative businesses for politicians and authorities is the sale of improved fuels and coal. He has embezzled a lot of money since 1993 on air pollution in Ulaanbaatar.
The most extensive money laundering business since 2018 is improved fuel.
I have no idea more about it. How much do you earn ? I can't imagine people splitting billions of dollars in the name of solving social problems
On social media, they did it, and It is often said that air pollution has been reduced by 40-60 percent. But in real life, you can see my picture.
189,000 households in the capital use improved fuels. These households are entering their third winter using improved fuels.
As a result of briquettes, air pollution in the city decreased by 40-50 percent during the heating season, officials said.
"Maybe the world has always been a prison for us."
Pregnant women are exposed to air pollution, which affects the lungs and airways of the unborn child, leading to premature birth or surgery.
Air pollutants:
a) sulfur dioxide (SO2):
b) nitrogen dioxide (NO2);
c) PM10 particles or PM2.5 particles;
d) carbon monoxide (CO);
e) ozone (O3)
Here is some measurement picture of CO, SO2 i found and you can understand what i meant it.
Over the past decade, the incidence of respiratory diseases among Ulaanbaatar residents has increased dramatically, with respiratory infections 2.7 times per 10,000 population. In Mongolia, the number of abortions recorded between winter and summer has increased 3.5 times.
My family had the same problem. Last year, we had a baby with a doctor's diagnosis that the baby had stopped growing. I would like to end this article wishing you all the best in the new year.
I hope you enjoyed my notes and I would be very glad if you leave a comment. Thank you.
I'm delighted to see Hive and write this brief #introduceyourself finally. Thanks to everyone who read it. Stay hungry, stay foolish, Hives
