Tall dead spruce trees, and one old healthy one. :: Daily and Fresh ๐Ÿ“ท (57/366)

Hello again! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Today when Vera and I were walking Ninnu, I took some photos of the trees.

There had been a wind in the Winter, and some trees had fallen down.

It is interesting, as we now saw that almost all the spruce trees were sick.

Dead European Spruce

A woodpecker has dug holes into the tree. The little beetle larvae must be their favourite foods.

This dead spruce was huge.

But not as big as this still living tree.

Still in good health. Grand old tree must be over 100 years old.

These trees had fallen a few years ago. We often get windy weather, and if the trees are not well, they will fall. Also, spruce typically tip over from the bottom, as pines will often snap in two somewhere above ground. That's because the trees have different roots. Spruce roots don't go very deep, as the pine has a taproot, that keeps the tree anchored to earth. Their trunks are also much more rugged so they rarely fall.

Okay. I am coming down with a flu or something. I hope it is not the dreaded one. I've been coughing all day, and in the Evening I started sneezing too.

Well, maybe it's nothing...

Laters!

I'll be back.

Those trees are such a tall and the gift of nature, captured very nicely.

Itโ€™s seasonal cold! You sneeze with runny nose!

Coronavirus; youโ€™ll have dry cough with fever, after a few days youโ€™ll have shortness of breath! That signifies that the sick person must see the doctor as soon as possible.

Yea I think it's a bit different to what I've read and heard about covid19. My cough from the morning on was not dry cough.

This pandemia is scary though, as I've had shortness of breath since early January. I had a flu or cold, and a heavy cough then, and since then my lungs have not been working right. If I were to catch a pneumonia I think I might have a problem on my hands.

Yes I will definitely contact the doctor if it's going to get worse.

It has been recommended that vitaminC should be taken daily to boost the immune system. I think you should take one in the morning and one in the evening.

Take fresh garlic in your salad or garlic oil capsules. Also, Curcuma Longa Linn or Kumin (in Thai) is very good for anti-oxidation or inflammation. I take one capsule before going to bed.

Take ginger tea as it is Yang energy, you have too much Yin in your system! Weak Earl Grey tea should be good too!

I am afraid you stay in the cold too long taking photos. And you didn't bring your energy into balance.

Oh! Sauna is supposed to be helpful too.
