Otak-Otak AKA Brains
The word otak translated into English means brains. Nooo, this is not someone or any animal's brain but it was named 'otak-otak' because it resembles a brain. Soft, and mushy. It is actually grilled fish cake with seasoning. You can find it in the food stalls around Malaysia and it is simply delicious! Well, not many people love 'otak-otak' but it is one of my favourite side dishes to order if they're serving. Usually the combo would be 'otak-otak' and 'satay'.
