So, I love the idea of a @photo-trail, but steem trails were originally meant to be a community of voters that gave voting permission on their behalf to a user who follows a guideline when dealing out those votes. That's great! That helps the original artist and the steemit photo community all around!
However, I do feel what you are doing here crosses the lines of the Steemit Etiquette Guide, and does nothing to help the artist, only whomever is behind this particular photo trail.
While you might be linking back to the OP, not many viewers (especially the new ones) aren't going to bother going to each OP and upvoting. Since you are keeping all the earnings from essentially compiling other people's work, it does NOTHING to help the artist or the community, in general. You are not being original with your content, only piggy-backing off of the hard work of a handful of other people.
I believe it would only be fair for you to divide the earnings evenly between yourself and the artists featured in your post.

Please, leave to the authors to judge if this helps them or not. They do decisions for themselves. All photos were published with their consent.
The authors are not the only ones affected by this. New users may not understand that their vote on your post doesn't trickle down to the people who actually deserve the money.
Did you even offer to split the earnings with them? I think that would only be polite. After all, we are trying to build a community that is beneficial to all. :)
