Narconon uses only a tiny fraction of what one in Scientology would be doing/learning. I really can’t tell you much about what Scientology does, I can really only tell you accurately about what we do. Narconon was created by a heroin addict names William Benitez who read books of Hubbard’s while in prison and it completely changed his thinking around that his addiction was just some disease that he would have the rest of his life-in fact what he said was it changed his thinking around so much that he stopped making excuses for his relapses, and finally realized that all the destruction was his fault but he could fix things and become an ethical person again. What he read was widely published for anyone to read, not just for Scientologists. So please understand that we are not the Church running a rehab. We are a fully Licensed and Accredited rehab that uses some very workable life repair tools that helps one become their own sponsor-in AA you rely on a sponsor, meetings, prayer, meditation and higher Power. Here we help a person rely on their own abilities to do the right things, and make the right decisions. Going to Church, praying, having a sponsor, these are all good things and we only support someone living like that BUT we also make sure the person is accountable for their own actions and decisions and they are doing what they feel is the right thing to do from his point forward.
