Hello dear steemians,
Today I had the seventh chest training from my workout challenge and I'm really proud to say that I see big progress comparing to my last chest workouts. There is no hurry, I like to start slow and correct then when the muscle get stronger I add more weights on barbell like I did week by week with all my workouts.
I see people who try to impress other into the gym and they put the wrong weight on barbell (more that they can handle) and of course they don't do the movement correctly. This is one of the biggest mistake which a beginner repeats over and over again, there is no shame how much weight you can handle, the purpose is to make the exercise correct to avoid injury. First learn how to act then go to next level.
I had in plan to make abs too, but I delayed for tomorrow because the lack of time. For today's workout I choose the following exercises :
Barbell Bench Press : 5 sets of 10-8-8-8-12 reps

Incline Dumbbell Press : 4 sets of 8 reps

Cable Crossover : 3 sets of 10 reps

Low Cable Crossover : 3 sets of 10 reps

I agree big time. Learn the movement with light weight. And step by step building the weights up. To be honest I learnd the hardway by getting injured. Have a nice day!
