dBuzz is an excellent alternative to the Twitter - it offers the microblogging with a few upgrades to an original idea. It is a microblogging built upon HIVE blockchain so it is both censorship resistant and decentralized.
Unlike Twitter, the dBuzz decentralized nature prevents manipulation and protects the free speech. Like with any Hive dapp, you will need to sign up with the Hive for the set of the keys that you need to have an account on that blockchain.
dBuzz is a wonderful place to share ideas and it encourages the free speech, which is rarity in todays online social network media.
Aside of free posting and decentralization, dBuzz same as other blogging Hive front ends and dapps offers a reward model based on author and curation rewards.
Transaction speeds are incredible on Hive and transactions do not require fees, so this could be a huge plus for some people.
Also, unlike other testing or beta microblogging dapps, dbuzz is publicly available, visible, has a big user base ( an entire Hive blockchain) so there is a good chance it will be a major factor in social microblogging of the future.
I like dBuzz because it is simple, effective, straightforward and easy to use without unnecessary clutter and obvious issues that plague centralized social media such as the Twitter.
